Bear Valley is home to one of the finest cross country ski resorts in North America. Guests enjoy an extensive trail system with 60+ kilometers of groomed paths over 3,000 acres. Bear Valley is incredibly fortunate to have a scenic meadow with exciting hills nearby. This configuration makes Bear Valley user-friendly for both beginning and expert skiers, with 38 unique trails for both track and skate skiing. In addition, a snowbound Meadow Cafe, and three warming huts throughout the trail system make Bear Valley a winter wonderland for skiers, snowshoers, and sledding/tubing guests. The 7,000 to 7,800 feet in elevation assist in early-season opening and late-season spring skiing. If you haven’t already experienced Bear Valley, make plans to do so, and you won’t regret your decision.

Winter sports promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and an appreciation for the outdoor environment. Therefore, we offer several programs for kids, families, schools and scout groups to experience cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snow tubing at affordable rates.
groups
Groups of 10 or more save on cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and tubing. Save 5% on weekends and holidays and 20% midweek. Group discounts require one source of payment (aka - no split checks ;-). Feel free to contact us for more information or questions.
