• Trailhead Ambassador (winter)
  We are looking for several part-time Trailhead Ambassadors to assist our outside operations team for the 2025/2026 winter season. Daily activities include greeting guests, checking trail passes, handing out rental skis, and monitoring sledding and tubing hills. All trailhead staff must assist in snow removal with provided training and be comfortable working outdoors. An additional goal of the job is to have fun with guests and co-workers while maintaining a personable and professional demeanor. This is a seasonal position with flexible hours and duties. We aim to make each day at BVAC an adventure!

• Retail & Rental Associate (winter)
  Join our adventurous team and be part of welcoming customers and helping them find what they’re looking for in the store and beyond. BVAC offers a wide selection of outdoor gear, food, fuel, and rentals. Retail Associates are an integral part of keeping our store stocked, looking good, and checking out guests at the counter. Housing options are available. Rarely is one day similar to the one before; it’s an adventure working at BVAC.

  • Update Aug. 10, 2025 - all full-time Retail & Rental Associate positions are filled, but part-time work is still available on weekends and holidays.

• Nordic Ski Instructor (winter)
  Are you a fun and adventurous individual who would be excited to teach cross-country skiing? Ski instructors share the thrills of Nordic skiing and help guests improve their skills on the snow. Ski instructors assist Trailhead Ambassadors in greeting guests, handing out rental skis, and getting folks moving in the right direction. Professional training and equipment are provided as needed. While this position is part-time, additional work can be obtained by assisting other departments.
  

A Little BVAC History:
BVAC was purchased by the Bear Valley Mountain Cooperative (BVMC) in December 2018. BVMC is a non-profit group of 450+ individuals who are motivated for the betterment of Bear Valley. BVAC is at the forefront of this investment and intends to reinvest in the company to maintain and improve BVAC offerings and services. BVAC strives to be the best employer in town.
