• Retail Associate (winter)
  Join our adventurous team and be part of welcoming customers and helping them find what they’re looking for in the store and beyond. BVAC offers a wide selection of outdoor gear, food, fuel, and rentals. Retail Associates are an integral part of keeping our store stocked, looking good, and checking out guests at the counter. Housing options are available. Rarely is one day similar to the one before; it’s an adventure working at BVAC.

• Cook (winter)

  BVAC seeks an adventurous individual to prepare and serve delicious meals at our snowbound cafe. Reba's Meadow Cafe is situated within our cross-country ski trail system, approximately 0.25 miles from our store and trailhead. The job requires over-snow travel either by foot, ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile on a groomed trail. You will be hard-pressed to find a more scenic job site. Priority will be given to a detail-oriented, clean, and self-motivated individual who can stay on task without supervision.  The starting date is in mid-November and is flexible. Affordable housing is available on-site.

• Nordic Ski Instructor (winter)
  Are you a fun and adventurous individual who would be excited to teach cross-country skiing? Ski instructors must be eager to share the thrills of Nordic skiing and help guests improve their sliding skills on the snow. Ski instructors assist Trailhead Ambassadors in greeting guests, handing out rental skis, and getting folks moving in the right direction. Professional training and equipment are provided as needed. A Little BVAC History:
BVAC was purchased by the Bear Valley Mountain Cooperative (BVMC) in December 2018. BVMC is a non-profit group of 450+ individuals who are motivated for the betterment of Bear Valley. BVAC is at the forefront of this investment and intends to reinvest in the company to maintain and improve BVAC offerings and services. BVAC strives to be the best employer in town.
