sledding & tubing
groomed hills are closed for the season
Sledding and Tubing is open from 9am to 4pm daily.
During the winter season, Bear Valley Adventure Company offers both a groomed sledding and a separate groomed tubing area. Both activities have several fun runs, picnic tables, and benches. We recommend these activities for ages 3 and older. Hot food and drinks are available nearby at the Meadow Cafe. These areas are not lift-serviced and required hiking up the hills; we think it’s part of the adventure ;-).
Rates
*2024/2025 Peak Days: Weekends, plus Dec. 21, 2024 – Jan. 4, 2025; Jan. 18-20, 2025; Feb. 15-22, 2025
** - All guests not renting a sled or tube require an “Access Fee.” For example, for a group of four people renting two sleds on a Peak Day, the fee is [2 x $25 (sled)] + [2 x $10 (access fee)] = $70. The sleds and tubes can be shared amongst the group.
Additional Information:
Each sled or tube rental is for 2-hour sessions.
Only Bear Valley Adventure Company rental sleds and tubes are allowed on our private groomed hills.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and able to ride a sled or tube by themselves (ages 3+ recommended).
No pets allowed.
All sledding and tubing guests receive a 50% off coupon for “Learn to Ski Packages” or “Snowshoe Adventures.”
groups
Groups of 10 or more save on cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and tubing. Save 5% on weekends and holidays and 20% midweek. Group discounts require one payment source (aka - no split checks ;-). School groups can receive additional discounts. Contact groups@bvadventures.com for more information or questions.
