Summer Trail Report

Bear Valley Bicycling

Bear Valley is conveniently located in the center of an extensive mountain bike single-track trail system, world-class road cycling, and numerous forest service roads for gravel and mountain bike riders. Due to our elevation at 7100 feet, summer and fall are the cycling seasons. Each summer, BVAC stocks the store with bicycle gear and clothing and opens a bike shop for repairs and servicing our rental fleet. Feel free to stop by and inquire about any riding recommendations. Reba’s Toll House Cafe is also next door and the “go-to” spot for good food. Happy trails!

Mountain Biking

Bear Valley is home to some of California's best single-track mountain bike trails. While most trails cater to intermediate through expert riders, a few are appropriate for new riders. Most trails are accessible from our store, where our staff is happy to provide updates on trail conditions and recommendations.

Bear Valley is fortunate to have the Bear Valley Trail Stewardship (BVTS), a non-profit organization that meets regularly in the summer to clear, rebuild, and enhance trails around Bear Valley.
