Snowshoers enjoy our extensive trail system of over 3,000 acres. We have 38 carefully groomed trails, a trailside Meadow Cafe, and three warming huts. The elevation of 7,000 to 7,800 feet enables early opening (usually Thanksgiving) and late season closure (usually mid-April).
The sport of snowshoeing has gained popularity due to modern, lightweight, user-friendly equipment. Also, the discovery of cross country ski trails for snowshoers has contributed to this fun winter adventure. Unforunately dogs and pets are not allowed on our trail system.
We carry snowshoes in a variety of sizes, and no special shoes are necessary. Snowshoeing is definitely fun for everyone! Snowshoes are also available for sale in our store as well.
