Discover the beauty of Lake Alpine, Utica, Union, and Spicer Reservoirs while paddling and gliding across the water. Our high-quality boats are ideal for these high-alpine lakes, whether for a day or a multi-day adventure. Not familiar with these areas, here is a short video clip of Utica & Union Reservoirs.
A special adventure in our area is boat camping along the shores of the Utica, Union, and Spicer Reservoirs, where many campsites are accessible only by boat. It’s like car camping in that you can bring a lot of supplies. Canoes are especially good for these adventures.

2026 Boat Rental Rates
Daily Rental Rates
$60 - Single Kayak
$80 - Double Kayak
$100 - Canoe
$50 - Paddleboard (SUP)
$25 - Youth SUP/Kayak Hybrid
Boat rentals are from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Extra days are 20% off full day rate.

All boat rentals include life vests, paddles, and a summer adventure map. Plus, we’ll help load boats onto your car with our pads and straps.
Extend a rental and return the boat between 8:45 and 9:00 am the next day ($25/boat). Pick up a boat early before your scheduled rental, between 4:30 and 4:45pm ($25/boat).
Late returns are charged $60/hour.

Boat Deliveries
Boat deliveries are a convenient way to start your adventure. The best way to include a boat delivery is to do so when making your boat reservation online. Please include your preferred drop-off and pick-up times, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Delivery Rates for 1-2 Boats:
$75 - Lake Alpine
$145 - Utica & Union Reservoir
$95 - Spicer Reservoir
$50 - Bear Lake (private)
Delivery fee includes up to 2 boats. Additional boats are $25/boat.
Sample Boat Delivery & Pickup Schedule:
Lake Alpine: 9:30 am dropoff; 4 pm pickup
Spicer Reservoir: 10 am dropoff; 4 pm pickup
Utica & Union Reservoir: 10 am dropoff; 4pm pickup
Rental & Delivery Cancellation Policy:
A $25 processing fee is applied to all cancellations. Cancellations made between 1 and 2 weeks before your booking receive a 50% refund. No refunds are given for cancellations less than one week before the first day of rental.
Rental & Delivery Late Fees:
BVAC strives to provide efficient rental services. When rentals are returned late or scheduled services are delayed, it can affect other customers, including staff. Therefore, BVAC reserves the right to charge $20 for every 15 minutes of late rental returns or deliveries. Thanks for understanding.
