Save the date for an adventurous day of hiking and working on our winter cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails. It’s a new perspective on our landscape before the snow arrives. Duties can include trimming bushes and tree saplings and padding with cutting to enable snowmobiles and snowcats to groom trails in early and low snow conditions. More details on which trails will be targeted will be provided closer to the event days. After a morning work session, a complimentary lunch is provided.

Details:

• Meet at the Bear Valley Adventure Company at 9am

• Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a sun hat, a face mask, leather gloves, and sturdy shoes.

• If possible, bring your own loppers, hand saws, etc., and a positive attitude! If not, BVAC will provide tools.

• All volunteers must check in and sign a waiver.

• We will post the intended location and trail as the date gets closer.
