Please save the date for an adventurous day of hiking and working on our winter cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails. It’s a new perspective on our winter landscape before the snow arrives. Duties can include trimming bushes and tree saplings, and padding boulders with cutting to assist snowmobiles and snowcats in grooming trails during low snow conditions. Details on which trails will be targeted will be provided closer to the event days. After a morning work session, a complimentary lunch is provided. The second trailwork day is scheduled for Saturday, October 25th.

Event update (Oct. 9) - due to weather, the date is now Sunday, Oct. 12th. We are also going to shift work to the Equipe Trail and have lunch at the hut.
Event update (Oct. 5) - we will target the westside trails, Scenic Byway & Waterfall.

Details:

• Meet at the Bear Valley Adventure Company at 9am

• After introductions and a safety meeting, we will either walk or drive to the trail(s)

• Participants should be prepared to work outdoors. Check the weather for details.

• If possible, bring your own loppers, hand saws, etc. If not, BVAC will provide.
