Save the date and join us for an adventurous day of hiking and working on our winter cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Gain a new perspective on our winter landscape before the snow arrives. Duties can include trimming bushes, tree limbs, and saplings. These efforts help our snowcats groom trails. After a morning work session, we will provide a complimentary lunch.

Update (9/16/26): We're considering venturing into Walden Meadow for this event. If so, this would be a hardy adventure!

Details:

• Meet at the Bear Valley Adventure Company at 9am

• After introductions, we will either walk or drive to the work area

• Participants should be prepared to work outdoors with sturdy shoes/boots, gloves, and a daypack with water & snack. Check the weather for appropriate clothing.

• If possible, bring your own lopper or hand saw. If not, BVAC will provide one.
