Join BVAC employee and former National Park Ranger, Bayleigh Bisner, for a morning of local wildflower appreciation. Along the way, identify and learn more about Bear Valley fauna. Depending on the hike location, carpooling will be encouraged. Additional specifics for the hike will be posted on this webpage a few days before the event.

Update (6/24/26) - this hike is headed to Woodchuck Basin about 4 miles east of our store on Hwy. 4. The hike will be roughly 2 miles with 500 ft. of elevation gain. Temperatures are expected to be cool with a slight chance of rain.

• What: Hike with a Ranger: Wildflowers

• When: 9:30 AM; meet at the BVAC store. We will aim to be back at the store no later than 12 PM.

• Bring: closed-toed shoes, appropriate clothing for the day, water, snacks, sun protection, and your adventurous disposition.
