Learn more about local Bear Valley wildflowers and adaptations to the High Sierra landscape. Spend the morning with our store manager and trained ecologist Quinn Rider, exploring and learning about local wildflowers and fauna.

Details:

• Meet at the Bear Valley Adventure Company at 10am

• Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots for hiking

• A small backpack or similar with water, snacks, and sunscreen is recommended

• Update: the plan is to carpool halfway up Highway 207 and hike the beginning portion of the “Upper Rings” trail, possibly into lower Round Valley. Approximately 2 miles round trip with 300 feet of elevation gain.
