Thanksgiving weekend 2025

While there isn’t enough snow yet for cross country skiing, there is enough for snowshoeing in the meadow. Therefore, we plan to open 5+ kilometers of snowmobile groomed trails for this holiday weekend, including lunch at the Meadow Cafe.

Holiday Details:

Thanksgiving Day (11/27)

  • Store & Snowshoe Trails: 9AM-2PM

Friday - Sunday (11/28-11/30):

  • Store: 9AM-5PM

  • Snowshoe Trails: 9AM-4:30PM

  • Meadow Cafe: 11AM-3PM (snowshoes not required)

Special Rates:

  • Trail Pass: $10 (6 years old and older)

  • Free Trail Pass: $0 (5 years old and younger)

  • Snowshoe Rental: $15 (all ages)

Additional Bear Valley Activities:

  • Downhill skiing & snowboarding at Bear Valley Mountain Resort

  • Visit one of our three SNO-Parks (permit required and sold at BVAC)

  • Disc golf in the village - free course map and disc rentals at BVAC

  • Take a scenic 1-mile hike amongst the boulders at Hell’s Kitchen Vista Point. Free bouldering maps available at BVAC.

After the weekend, the store will remain open, but the trails and cafe will be closed midweek. Stay tuned for updates as conditions change.
