Youth Trade-Up Ski Program
We know purchasing ski equipment for children is challenging; therefore, we offer a Youth Trade-Up Ski Program that follows your child's growth until they are 16 years old. Purchase new ski equipment (ski, bindings, boots, and poles) from BVAC, then trade in the ski gear as your child grows to ensure they always have correctly fitting cross-country ski equipment. We aim to replace all returned equipment with equal-conditioned gear. Joining the Youth Trade-Up Ski Program ensures your child has properly fitting nordic ski equipment.
Sample costs:
New youth skis & bindings (~$130)
New youth boots (~$100)
New youth poles (~$40)
Once participants get too big for youth ski equipment (90-160cm skis), they can upgrade to adult skis, bindings, and poles for $100 and $30 for adult boots (size 5+).
