February proved a little longer than usual, not because of the Leap Year Day on February 29th but because of all the cool happenings at the Bear Valley Adventure Company (BVAC). For starters, Trailblazers, our youth nordic ski program, made noticeable progress in skills, endurance, and teamwork. Due to the weather, a few training dates got rescheduled, and we look forward to seeing their smiling and eager faces at the trailhead.
Reba's Meadow Cafe has also hit a stride with Chef Jessi, producing good food with attractive specials. Après Ski returned to the cafe and will continue to target Saturday late afternoons with pleasant weather.
BVAC is also experiencing an uptick in groups, including schools, scout troops, church groups, and fitness clubs. With advance notice, we can offer discounts, advanced reservations, and unique offerings to make these outings run smoothly and more memorable.
Now that the snowpack has returned to typical depths, BVAC is excited for an extended Spring skiing season. Stay tuned for the Easter Egg Hunt, Ski Clinics, Live Music @ Cafe, Season Pass Sale, and more.
