Another classic Bear Valley summer is underway where the days are long, the nights are cool, the trails are open, and the lakes are comfortable for swimming. This is a special time when the living is easy, and we hope you are able to enjoy the splendors of a Bear Valley summer.
The Bear Valley Adventure Company (BVAC) is humming along and open daily 9am – 5pm. Reba’s Toll House Café serves tasty meals from 11am-4pm and aims to offer specials regularly. Boat and bike rentals are popular, and the Bike Shop is ready to keep you rolling. Given the pandemic disruptions, BVAC is overstocked with both boats and bikes and is offering special deals. Now is a great time to invest in your future adventures.
All good things must come to an end, and before you know it, BVAC will be having its annual Labor Day Weekend Sale. Throughout the weekend, many store items will be aggressively discounted to make room for winter supplies. Then on Monday, September 5th, our rental bikes and boats will be up for sale at deep savings. Our intent is to sell the entire rental fleet each Fall, then restock with new equipment each Spring.
While marking your calendar, consider including our Winter Trail Work Days on September 24th and October 8th. These outings are fun and adventurous and provide guests with a unique perspective on the terrain beneath our groomed cross country ski and snowshoe trails. Afterward, we enjoy a nutritious lunch and reflect on the change of season and speculate on the coming days of winter.
Regardless of the time of year, BVAC strives to be your go-to place for supplies, clothing, food, and information on how to have a great adventure in Bear Valley. Chee
