Welcome to summer, and BVAC is ready to outfit your next adventure. The big news at BVAC is the startup of our new food trailer, Reba's Toll House Café. The plan is to start modest and expand as we dial in the operations. Currently, we offer lunch daily from 11am-4pm. The cafe will also supply the store with homemade treats such as cookies, muffins, pies, and trail mix. Also, keep your eyes and ears open for "to-go" dinners in the coming weeks. We are firm believers that good food fuels good adventures.
Other news at BVAC is that we are fully stocked with rental bikes and boats. This summer's bicycle fleet includes both front and full-suspension mountain bikes, plus strider bikes for the newest member of your cycling family. We also have electric bikes in both road and trail models. If you haven't tried an electric bike, you'll be impressed with how they flatten the hills and put a smile on your face. Our bike shop is also open, staffed, and ready to keep your two-wheeled friend rolling smoothly.
Boat rentals are always popular and provide a great way to beat the heat and crowds along the shoreline. This summer, we have single and double kayaks, canoes, youth and adult standup paddleboards (SUP), and even a couple of hybrid sit-on-top kayaks and SUP's. The store also has inflatable SUP's for sale.
