Spring sprang and kept on springing. Despite a lackluster winter, the past two months have been bountiful in both snow and rain. Given our Mediterranean climate, we are thankful for each drop of water, but the timing has been difficult on one’s psyche. Fortunately, long-range weather forecasts look favorable for sunny and warmer days ahead. Soon we will be relishing the glory of a High Sierra Summer.
The Bear Valley Adventure Company reopened for summer on Friday, May 1st, and plans to continue operations through October. Our store is open daily from 9 AM–5 PM, and our café is open from 11 AM–3 PM. We offer online and in-person mountain bike and boat rentals, including boat deliveries, and a bike mechanic is scheduled each day for service and repairs. Feel free to stop by the store if you have any questions about trail, lake, or general outdoor recreation conditions; we love to talk about our work.
