It's a winter wonderland in Bear Valley! This season's bountiful snowpack enables the Bear Valley Adventure Company (BVAC) to expand sledding and tubing hills, plus groom 100% of our ambitious trail system.
Reba's Meadow Cafe is firing on all cylinders, serving new warm and tasty meals daily from 11am-3pm. It's an adventurous 5-minute walk from our store on a groomed path. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. As the days lengthen and the weather improves, be on the lookout for après ski events at the cafe this spring.
A return of midweek ski clinics starts Thursday, February 16th. These clinics are designed to be taken as a series, or à la carte, and are open to all abilities with previous striding or skating experience. Visit our website for details and registration (www.bvadventures.com/events).
Last but not least, the 50th Annual Bjornloppet XC Ski Race Weekend is coming up on March 11-12, 2023. The weekend is full of nordic skiing, community, and support for all ages and abilities. Saturday is the big day with the 20K freestyle race (skate & classic) on the Headwaters and Bjornloppet trails, plus a 10K and 5K course. Sunday switches gears with a 10K & 5K classic-only race (no skating) on the Equipe trail. This winter is shaping up with a historic snowpack, and we hope many of you will join us for this signature Bear Valley event.
