The holiday season has passed, and our village is getting a little respite from the influx of visitors enjoying our winter wonderland. At the Bear Valley Adventure Company, we had a successful couple of weeks, where our COVID protocols worked well to control the crowds and keep our workplace safe. We appreciate your support and recognize that limiting store traffic to six people meant longer wait times for gas, rentals, and adventure supplies. Our staff worked hard with upbeat attitudes to help guests get on the snow, whether to take a cross country ski lesson, redeem their season pass, or take the family sledding and tubing. The Meadow Café also did an outstanding job preparing food-to-go and providing a welcoming ambiance with healthy spacing.
Throughout the holidays, the cross country skiing exceeded expectations. Cold temperatures and periodic recharges of fresh snow kept the groomed trails fast and clean. Plus, the shorter days provided spectacular sunsets at the end of most days. It is always rewarding to see so many having a great time outdoors in Bear Valley.
