Since Labor Day Weekend, the weather has been some of the finest Fall conditions in memory. Mostly sunny with warm days, cool nights, and a few rain events to keep things fresh. With an El Niño headed our way, it's sure to be an exciting winter ahead.

Fall is in the air, and our fingers are crossed that the recent rain over Labor Day Weekend is enough to keep the forest moist and able to dampen any wildfires. These recent rains have also refreshed the trails for outstanding mountain biking, hiking, and trail running.

Summer finally arrived, and the Bear Valley Adventure Company welcomes one of the finest seasons of the year! It doesn't matter if you choose to venture on the trails, lakes, meadows, roads, courts, or rocks or visit for the live music, enjoy a good book, or stargazing; nothing compares to the warm days and cool nights of Bear Valley in the summer.

The Bear Valley Adventure Company (BVAC) is excited for summer! Now is the time to enjoy the many adventures Bear Valley offers, such as hiking, biking, boating, fishing, camping, glamping, rock climbing, disc golf, tennis, pickleball, trail running, and star gazing.

Snap, and just like that, winter wraps up, and it's full steam ahead to summer.  Looking back, this was one of the longest cross country ski, snowshoe, sled, and tubing seasons that started on November 12, 2022, and continued through Memorial Day Weekend on May 29, 2023. 

Spring has sprung! Meanwhile, winter weather returns in early May, and that's excellent news at BVAC, as we plan to continue skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and tubing for as long as possible.

The winter storms keep rolling through with no end in sight. As a lifelong snowsports enthusiast, half of me says, "Bring It," while the other half says, "Whoa, Nelly."
